2 Men Arrested For Selling Heroin

Oct 05, 2013 -- 12:16pm

Two men, including one who was on home confinement for probation, have been arrested for dealing heroin out of his house.

Delaware State Police say an investigation by the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force found that 38-year-old Eric Howell of Millsboro was selling large amounts of heroin. Troopers say Howell was driven to a drug store in Lewes by 28-year-old Jason Kehler of Millsboro to meet another man, and Howell sold him 26 bags totaling .39 grams of heroin.

Howell and Kehler were arrested during a traffic stop, and Troopers say they had 250 bags totaling 3.75 grams of heroin, and more than $4,000 in cash. The heroin and money were seized, and they’ve each been charged with multiple counts of possession of heroin with the intent to deliver and second-degree conspiracy. Howell is being at SCI on $38,000 bail, while Kehler is free on $34,500 bail.
