Body of Missing Boater Found in Snow Hill

Oct 02, 2013 -- 7:12am

A boater who'd been missing since Saturday has been found dead.

The body of 63-year-old Otto Lynch of Salisbury was recovered by Maryland Natural Resources Police Tuesday in the Pocomoke River in Snow Hill. He was reported missing by his family after he didn't return home on Saturday following a two-dayfishing tournament. His Ranger bass boat was found adrift in the river. Other fishermen pulled the boat onshore and called authorities.

Lynch's body has been turned over to the Maryland Medical Examiner's Office in Baltimore for an autopsy.
