Cong. John Carney Comments on Vote in US House

Congressman John Carney says the US House showed extremism and an absolute refusal to compromise in its vote Saturday to delay the Affordable Care Act.  He says that is the law of the land – passed by both houses of Congress, signed by President Obama and affirmed by the Supreme Court.  Representative Carney agrees the law isn’t perfect, but Congress should be working together to make the needed improvements.  The bill that was passed is one that the Senate won’t pass, the President will not sign and will bring the US to the brink of a government shutdown.
