Wicomico Road Crews Get New Equipment

Sep 27, 2013 -- 6:30pm

Christmas came early to the Wicomico County Department of Public Works Roads Division.  They have new equipment to help preserve the county’s roads and make them safer for the public.  New aggregate recyclers allow crews to better fill potholes using hot mix asphalt – at any time of the years.  This will eliminate the need for temporary fixes to roads in the winter when hot mix is not available.  The new equipment keeps the asphalt at an appropriate temperature.
