A Georgetown man has been arrested in the theft of gas and batteries from a farm in Harbeson.
22-year-old Robert Storms, Jr. was arrested Friday afternoon after tips from media outlets and the Crime Stoppers tip line. State Police say Storms was identified as the man who was seen on surveillance cameras who stole batteries from a tractor and forklift on a farm on Beaver Dam Road on August 30 and September 10. Troopers say Storms also cut the lock off a gas pump and stole about 15 gallons of gas.
Storms has been charged with two counts each of third-degree burglary, theft under $1,500 from a victim age 62 or older, and criminal trespass. He was also charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief. He’s free on $10,700 bond.
