Burglar Caught Steeling Copper at Salisbury Public Works Facility

In August, Salisbury Police were called to the city’s Public Works Facility for a burglary.  An investigation showed that someone entered the locked complex just before midnight and took copper wire from the rear of a truck.  On September 6th the same person was spotted inside the locked complex near a storage building just after 3:30am.  Just before 1am Monday an officer conducting surveillance at the complex spotted the subject enter the locked complex and pry open a locked storage area and take a roll of copper wire.  50 year old Christopher Gibbs of Salisbury was arrested and identified as the same person who entered the locked complex on two other occasions.  He’s charged with 2nd and 4th degree burglary and other offenses.
