Help Send A Blizzard of Snowflakes to Sandy Hill Students

Dec 29, 2012 -- 1:25pm

The Connecticut PTSA is creating a winter wonderland for the students at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  Those students will finish the school year at Chalk Hill School in Monroe, Connecticut – and your help is needed. They are looking for snowflakes to decorate the school – they can be paper, ceramic, knit, crafted – and will hang on windows, bulletin boards, doors and walls.  From the ceilings and from desks and anywhere else they can be placed.  Creatable Crafts in downtown Rehoboth Beach is sponsoring a snowflake-making effort and everyone’s invited to create a glass, ceramic or clay snowflake for free – or as many paper snowflakes as you can create.  They’ll also collect all the snowflakes you make at home until January 6th – and on the 7th they’ll ship them all to Connecticut.
