Berlin Man Killed in Two Car Crash

A two car crash in Berlin Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of a 26-year-old Berlin man.

Maryland State Police say the crash happened around noon as a Toyota Avalon, driven by 25-year-old Amberle Booker of Berlin was heading north on Main Street; as she approached the intersection with Route 50, she crossed into the path of  a Dodge Ram, driven by Christopher Keenan. 

The impact, trapped Booker’s passenger Stephen Mumpower inside the Toyota; he was pronounced dead at Atlantic General Hospital.

Keenan was treated and released from PRMC; Booker was initially taken to PRMC but was later transferred to Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
