A 20-year-old Seaford man was released on his own recognizance last week following his arrest by the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office for theft.
This past February, a deputy began investigating the theft of two wheel rims that were being used as fire rings at the Woodlawn Campground in Delmar; the deputy suspected that the items might have been stolen for the cash value at a metal recycler.
Charles Timmons was later identified as the person who brought the rims to the recycler; an arrest warrant was issued for him but Timmons wasn’t located until December 19.
