The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for New Castle County effective from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Forecasters say New Castle County could see 2 to 4 inches of snow on Saturday; there is a chance that a little rain mixes in across the far southern and eastern portions of the advisory area, which would cut down on the accumulations some.

Temperatures Saturday are expected to hover in the low to mid-30’s.
