The U.S. Marshals Service says the Tasley, Virginia man wanted in a fatal Accomack County shooting Sunday has been arrested.
24-year-old Jamar Hickman was arrested Tuesday afternoon after he was seen in his sister’s car with his girlfriend and her two children on Whaleyville Road in Wicomico County.
Hickman was wanted for shooting and killing 32-year-old James Wyatt, also of Tasley, at a Daugherty Road home during a fight Sunday morning. Wyatt was pronounced dead a short time after the shooting at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox.
Hickman is currently being held without bail at the Wicomico County Detention Center awaiting extradition back to Virginia. Hickman is charged with 1st degree murder.
