A traffic stop for speeding by Maryland State Police on Sunday around 4pm resulted in an arrest on drug charges. During the stop the trooper noticed several criminal indicators and called for backup. During a pat down for weapons of 35 year old Jermaine Norman of Virginia the officer found a heat-sealed food bag of compressed cocaine. The 4.7 ounces of cocaine has a street value of about $13,000 to $26,000. Norman was charged with possession with the intent to distribute and is being held on $10,000 bond.
