BREAKING: Seaford Residents Can Return Home - Gas Leak Cleared

12AM - Seaford Police tell WGMD residents who were evacuated or left their homes after a gas main ruptured earlier this evening can return home.  Utility crews have the situation under control. 


Seaford residents in the Atlanta Road/Fleetwood Drive area are being asked to leave their homes because of a gas line rupture.  Captain Gary Flood tells WGMD that a 2-inch gas main ruptured a short time ago and utility crews from Chesapeake Utilities and the city are working to stop the leak. 

Police and fire crews from Seaford and Blades are on the scene
