Dover Man Arrested for Cocaine Possession

A 24-year-old Dover man is behind bars following his arrest last week for possession of cocaine and endangering the welfare of a child.

Dover Police on Wednesday were called to the 400 block of New Castle Avenue for a curfew check on Antoine Burgess; Burgess was found to be in possession of 12.3 grams of cocaine which was packaged for sale; there were also three children in the home at the time.

Burgess was committed to the JTVCC in lieu of $10,000 bail.
