A wanted teenager was arraigned after shots were fired outside the VFW in Millsboro late Friday night.
Delaware State Police say around 11:50 Friday night, a security guard who was working at a private event at the VFW got into an argument with a patron who refused to leave. The patron finally got into his vehicle and left, but two gunshots were heard from the direction of the vehicle. Troopers who were nearby heard the shots, and responded to the VFW to investigate. Witnesses gave troopers a description of the vehicle, and troopers found the car was still in the parking lot. A 19-year-old was driving, and a 17-year-old was in the passenger seat. No guns were found during a search of the vehicle, but the passenger was found to be wanted by local courts. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 in Georgetown, and was then released to a parent.
