Farmington Man Arrested For Drug Possession After Early-Morning Traffic Stop in Harrington

A Farmington man is being held in prison after being arrested for marijuana possession.

Just before 1:30 this morning, Harrington Police pulled over 23-year-old Mace Rust II on Route 13 for a traffic violation. While talking with Rust, officers say they saw small amounts of marijuana both on his pants and on the floorboard, and also smelled marijuana coming out of his vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, officers say they found 85 grams of pot, along with drug paraphernalia.

Rust has been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia with an aggravating factor, along with several traffic offenses. He’s being held at SCI on $850 bond.
