The Kent County chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America will be hosting a ceremony to observe Delaware’s Vietnam Veterans Day.
The ceremony will begin at 10 o’clock this morning at the Kent County Vietnam Memorial on South Little Creek Road in Dover, and will be open to the public. Sam Chick, who served in Iraq with the Army’s 101st Airborne Division, will be the guest speaker. The theme of his speech will be the common experiences of veterans of all conflicts through the generations.
The ceremony will also feature the singing of the national anthem, and the playing of “Taps” and “Amazing Grace.”
