Laurel Man Arrested after Menacing 2 People with Knife & Leading Police on Chase

Mar 23, 2013 -- 8:48am

A man and woman outside a Seaford home spotted a blue Jeep that the woman believed was a friend – and she tapped her horn.  The Jeep stopped and 48 year old Patrick Price of Laurel got out with a knife and yelled at the two who ran.  Price then drove off.  State Police responding to the incident spotted the Jeep and tried to stop it, but Price drove through a wheat field several times trying to lose the troopers.  Price drove home – and then ran – and after a lengthy struggle – including 2 unsuccessful taser deployments – he was arrested.  Price is charged with 4th felony DUI, weapons offenses, 2 counts of aggravated menacing and numerous other offenses.  He’s being held in default of $17,250 cash bail.
