The Coast Guard is searching for 2 people from the 67-foot fishing boat “the Seafarer” that sent out a distress call just after 10:30 this morning.  The boat was located about 15 miles east of Assateague Island.  Coast Guard Crews from Elizabeth City and Chincoteague are taking part in the search.  One person was rescued from a life raft and was taken to PRMC in Salisbury – but 2 fishermen are still missing.
