Gov's Task Force Arrests Two for Heroin Possession in Seaford

Delaware State Police have arrested A Seaford woman and  a Bridgeville man after drugs were found in their Seaford hotel room.

The Sussex County Governor’s Task Force went to the Quality Inn on Route 13 in response to illegal drug sales being reported in the area.

Police found 20-year-old Kai Bacon and 21-year-old Steonte Batson in Room 223, along with Nakita Boothman and two children under the age of two. A computer inquiry into the three adults revealed they all had capiases out of Sussex County Courts. 

A search of the room turned up 193 bags of suspected heroin totaling more than 4.8 grams along with more than $1,200 in suspected drug money.

Boothman was released after being arraigned on her capias. The children were turned over to relatives. Bacon and Batson were charged with various offenses, including possession of heroin; both are being held in lieu of bail.
