Dover Man Leads Police on Chase - Found with Heroin

Mar 04, 2013 -- 2:50pm

A traffic stop by State Police on Saturday on Bay Road in Dover led to the arrest of 29 year old Terrance Oliver on a variety of drug and other charges. Police saw a vehicle turn on to East Lebanon Road without signaling and proceed to make more traffic violations before the trooper stopped him.  When the trooper got no information on the driver, he went back to talk to him as the driver accelerated and sped off.  The driver abandoned the still moving car in a field behind the Greater Life Christian Church, which was struck by the car.  Oliver was arrested.  A search of the crash scene turned up nearly 200 bags of heroin and about $450 in suspected drug money.  Oliver is being held in default of $35,514
