Feb 23, 2013 -- 4:57am

WBOC TV is reporting that a Cessna 182 single-engine plane had to make an emergency landing at the Salisbury-Ocean City-Wicomico Regional Airport Friday afternoon around 2 o’clock.

Airport Manager Bob Bryant said the pilot had left Hagerstown and was forced to make an emergency landing at the airport because of ice buildup on the plane.

Although rescue personnel were waiting at the airport for the plane to land, the pilot was able to land the plane safely and there were NO injuries in the incident.
