As part of the on-going bridge construction along Route 26, DelDOT announced today that due to safety concerns a truck detour has been implemented immediately.

The closure affects the Gumboro Bridge.

Signage has been posted to advise truck drivers of the detour routes.

No word on how long the Bridge will be closed.
