Del Tech to Celebrate Black History Month with Movie Screening

In celebration of Black History month, students, employees and community members are invited to a free screening of the movie “Red Tails” at Del Tech in Georgetown.   The movie profiles the Tuskegee Airmen – the first African American combat unit to serve in World War II.  Brigadier General Ernest Talbert was the first African American to obtain the rank of colonel and become a general in the Delaware Air National Guard – he retired as Chief of Staff in 2009.  He will introduce the movie, which features Cuba Gooding, Junior.  The movie begins at 6:30pm on Thursday, February 28 in the Theater of the arts & Science Center.  For information - call 302-858-5475.
