The Delaware Department of Education is asking teachers to tell them what they need to do their jobs better.
Teachers will have until February 15 to respond to the TELL, or Teaching, Empowering, Leading and Learning Delaware Survey that was launched last month. The online survey is being conducted by the New Teacher Center, which has conducted similar surveys in 20 states since 2008. The DOE is hoping to get at least half of the teachers in each school to respond to the survey so it can release the results to the public.
The survey is funded in part by the state’s Race to the Top grant.
