AAA members have stepped up to save one of the Monopoly game pieces.
AAA, Dover International Speedway and Michael Waltrip Racing campaigned on Facebook and Twitter to save the Monopoly Race Car. Yesterday, Hasbro, the company that makes the game, announced the results of its online voting campaign where players got to decide which game piece to retire. The flat iron received the fewest votes, and will no longer be included in future editions of Monopoly.
The race car dates back to 1935, and is one of the game's most popular tokens. It's actually the favorite of Hasbro’s Vice President of Marketing.
