The late Delaware National Guard Adjutant General Arthur Episcopo will be honored for the next two days.
Governor Jack Markell has ordered all American and Delaware flags at state buildings to be lowered to half staff from when the buildings open on Wednesday until they close Thursday afternoon.
General Episcopo served in the Delaware National Guard. He was Adjutant General from 1989 until his retirement in 1993. He was presented with the state’s highest award, the Delaware Conspicuous Service Cross, and promoted him to Lieutenant General.
Episcopo died on February 2. He was 82.
