An 18-year-old Dover man is dead following a drive-by shooting Friday night.

Dover Police say Imeer Waddle and several other people were sitting on the steps at Whatcoat Apartments around 11:30 p.m. when a car entered the complex, stopped in front of the group, and opened fire.

Police say Waddle was hit in the head; he was pronounced dead a short time later at Kent General. Police say a 19-year-old man was also shot in the arm in the incident; he was treated and released.
