In response to the possible snow overnight, DelDOT crews will be reporting for work tonight, prepared to work through the night.
In New Castle County, all 200 crewmembers will report at 7 p.m.
In Sussex and Kent Counties, officials are calling back a portion of the crew, with the option of calling back more if the situation requires more manpower.
The forecast is somewhat uncertain, so DelDOT crews will be on the roads, ready to respond by either applying salt or plowing the snow. However, despite the efforts by DelDOT, there still may be ice and snow covering portions of roads. Drivers are urged to use caution, paying particular attention to bridges, overpasses, on ramps and turn lanes.
