The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning for most of Delmarva from 7 o’clock tonight until 6 a.m. Thursday.

Winds are expected out of the south at 25 to 35-miles-per-hour with gusts of 55 to 60-miles-per-hour.

The strongest winds are expected between 10 o’clock tonight and 6 a.m. Thursday.

The high winds could cause downed trees and power lines which would then lead to power outages.
