The Delaware Electric Cooperative is asking members to help Beat the Peak tonight from 6 till 8pm.  Because of the very cold temperatures, members will use a lot of energy to heat their homes – and that energy will come at a higher than usual cost.  You can help by turning off unnecessary lights and delaying the use of major appliances and hot water and turning down the thermostat a few degrees.
