Newark Man Charged after Crashing Van

A Newark man crashed his van after State Police tried to stop him for a traffic violation but 27 year old Reginald Kornegay refused to stop and continued driving until he crashed his vehicle and he was arrested.  A search of the van turned up a bag of heroin and 2 cigars of marijuana.  At his home police found over 28 grams of marijuana, a sawed-off shotgun and over $10,000 in cash.  Kornegay is charged with numerous drug and weapons offenses and is being held in default of $33,000 cash bond.
