Harrington Woman Arrested For Refusing to Cooperate With Police

Dec 04, 2013 -- 8:35am

A Harrington woman is free on bond after being arrested for refusing to cooperate with police after witnessing an assault.

Harrington Police arrested 19-year-old Kimberly Wisseman on Tuesday, and charged her with hindering prosecution. Police were called for an assault at the Clarks Corner Apartments. When officers arrived, they met with Wisseman, and say she was in the apartment when her boyfriend came home, found another person in the apartment, and started hitting that person with a baseball bat, resulting in injuries. Police say Wisseman refused to tell them the name of her boyfriend, and continued to refuse to cooperate with them at the police station.

Wisseman is free on $500 bond.
