UPDATE: Countdown is back on after a problem developed with a tracking site in North Carolina. Issue with the tracking site has been found. After successful testing we will pick up the count at T-60 minutes - new launch time 8:15pm
A Minotaur 1 rocket is scheduled to lift off from the Wallops Flight Facility this evening around 7:30. The rocket will launch the Air Force’s ORS-3 mission – which features the deployment of 29 satellites in space. The launch window is from 7:30 to 9:30 – and backup launch days run through November 26. The launch should be visible – depending on atmospheric conditions where you are – from northern Florida to southern Canada and west to Indiana.
