Delaware State Police Looking For Man Who Stole Woman's Wallet Outside Store in Wilmington

Delaware State Police are looking for the man who stole a wallet from a woman outside of a dollar store in Wilmington.

Troopers say around 4:20 Sunday afternoon, a woman was holding her wallet as she was walking through the parking lot of the Family Dollar store on Maryland Avenue when she was approached by a man. The man grabbed her wallet and ran away.

The robber is described as a black man, 20 to 24 years old, and about 5-foot-7 with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with more information is asked to call State Police Troop 2 at (302) 834-2630, extension 6, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted by using the State Police Mobile Crime Tip App on a smartphone.
