A Pennsylvania woman has pleaded guilty to tax fraud. 41 year old Stephanie Patterson faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, a fine of $250,000 and 3 years supervised release – she’ll be sentenced by Judge Leonard Stark, US District Judge for the District of Delaware on March 13, 2014. Officials say Patterson was part of a tax fraud conspiracy that involved the filing of over 180 false individual federal income tax returns using stolen identities – with the returns seeking over $1.8-million. Patterson and others received over $800,000 from the fraudulent returns.
