DuPont, Wordwide Metal Company Subsidiary Reach Settlement On Patent Infringement Lawsuits

DuPont and a Pennsylvania-based subsidiary of a worldwide metal company have reached a settlement on lawsuits over patent infringements.

DuPont and Heraeus Precious Metals North America Conshohocken of West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania have settled pending lawsuits over patents in the photovoltaic paste business. The lawsuits were scheduled to be tried in U.S. District Courts in Delaware in Oregon. Neither company has made an admission of liability with the settlement, and Hereaus will be allowed to keep its licenses for the contested patents.
