If you’ve received a letter from a Delaware troop serving overseas, you’ll have a chance to learn about how to preserve that letter for posterity.
The Milton Historical Society will be hosting a workshop on preserving war letters from 7 to 8 tonight at the Lydia B. Cannon Museum on Union Street. The program will be run by Nancy E. Lynch Steele, an award-winning journalist. Steele wrote a popular column for The News Journal, and between 1968 and 1972, she received nearly 1,000 letters from soldiers who were on the front lines during the Vietnam War.
The program is free, and will be open to the public.
