Congressional Grant Fair Falls Victim to Gov't Shutdown

Oct 15, 2013 -- 8:29pm

A grant fair has become yet another casualty of the government shutdown.  Delaware’s Congressional Delegation was to hold a Grant Fair on Monday, October 21, but they’ve had to postpone it because of the government shutdown.   All the organizations and individuals registered will be notified of the change and contacted when a new date is set – registrations will carry over to the rescheduled grant fair.  The rescheduled grant fair will include funders from state and federal government, private foundations and non-profits.  There will also be workshops on grant writing, the grant evaluation process and best practices for earning funding.
