Recreational Trail Grants Announced by MD Gov Martin O'Malley

52 recreational trail projects in Maryland have received funding.  Over $1.21-million in recreational grants have been announced by Governor Martin O’Malley – and the recipients include 5 counties, 6 municipalities and 15 non-profit organizations that will use the funding to improve pedestrian – bicycle trails.  Including over $16,000 for Assateague State Park Island & Mainland Trail Maintenance and $4000 for the Enhancement to the Greater Ridgely Rails-to-Trails – Phase 3.
