Protect yourself from the effects of the flu. If you live in Worcester County – flu shot clinics for residents aged 6 months and older are being set up. The flu has already arrived in Maryland – with the first case identified in a child who was hospitalized for a short time and is now recovering at home. For people 65 and older there are 2 options – the regular flu and a high dose vaccine which may give a stronger immune response. Clinics will be held at the Pocomoke, Snow Hill and Berlin Health Department locations from 8am to 4pm. -
• Wednesdays, October 16, October 23, and October 30 at the Pocomoke Health Center.
• Thursdays, October 17, October 24, and October 31 at the Berlin Health Center
• Fridays, October 18, October 25, and November 1 at the Snow Hill Health Department.
