Harrington Teen Arrested After Trying to Run From Police

A Harrington boy was arrested after trying to run from police.

Harrington Police were called to the corner of East and Clark Streets on October 1 for a large group of people that was being disorderly. Officers say when they arrived, a 15-year-old boy was attacking an 18-year-old. Police say the 15-year-old tried to run away when they tried to arrest him, but was caught after a brief foot chase. The 18-year-old suffered minor injuries in the attack, but he didn’t need medical attention.

The boy was charged with offensive touching, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He’s now in his mother’s custody, and will have to appear in Kent County Family Court.
