Delaware State Police Looking For Man Who Stole Purse From Woman at Bus Stop

Delaware State Police are looking for the man who stole a woman’s purse outside Wilmington.

Troopers say around 9 o’clock Friday night, a woman was standing at a bus stop on Lancaster Pike near Court Drive when a man walked up, grabbed her purse, and ran away.

The robber is described as a black man between 30 and 40 years old, about 5-foot-3 with hair on his chin. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police Troop 2 at (302) 834-2630, extension 6, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be sent in by using the State Police Mobile Crime Tip App on a smartphone.
