DSP Arrest Newark Man For Robbing North Wilmington Pharmacy

Delaware State Police have arrested a Newark man following a robbery at a pharmacy in North Wilmington.

Troopers say just after 6 o’clock Monday evening, 22-year-old Blaise Algeo went into First State Pharmacy on Foulk Road and showed a handgun to two pharmacists, demanding prescription medication from them. The pharmacists turned over an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs.

Algeo has been charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony. He’s being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institute on $56,000 bail.
