Early Sunday morning around 2, an Ocean City bicycle officer spotted a man talking on 2 cell phones at the same time near 8th Street and Philadelphia Avenue, but when he spotted the officer – the man walked into traffic causing cars to slam on their breaks. The officer issued a traffic warning for illegally crossing Philadelphia. When the officer told 25 year old Darnell Harris of Wilmington that he could leave – he didn’t and continued talking on both phones and acting nervous. Officers asked to search him and he consented – they seized 24 bags of heroin and $135 in cash. As they arrested Harris, 29 year old Clovise Evans asked about her cell phone that Harris was using. When she opened her car door police spotted a stun gun – and seized marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Harris was taken to the Worcester County Jail, Evans was released on bond.
On Tuesday, September 2nd ocean City police found two people asleep in their car in the inlet parking lot. As the officer woke then, the K-9 unit found drugs. A search of the vehicle turned up20 baggies of heroin, syringes, marijuana and paraphernalia. Police arrested 24 year old Jeffrey Foard and 31 year old Aubrey Sieracki both of Jarrettsville. She is free on bond – Foard is being held in default of $7500 bond.
