UPDATE: 2 Wilmington Men Arrested for Attempted Robbery on Bank Customer in Claymont

Aug 31, 2013 -- 8:43am

Two Wilmington men have been arrested in the connection with the August 14 robbery of a 27-year-old woman outside the M&T Bank on Philadelphia Pike in Claymont.

55-year-old Jeffrey Cook and 42-year-old Sidney Malloy were arrested Thursday and Friday, respectively, after it was determined they were involved in a planned robbery of the victim.

Police say Cook drove 35-year-old Terron Williams, also of Wilmington, and Malloy to the Claymont area where the robbery was to occur.

Cook and Malloy then waited in the car while the crime took place and later fled the area when the robbery was botched.
