Portion of Hobbs Road in Wicomico County to Close Next Week for Pipe Replacement

Beginning on Tuesday, September 3 a small section of Hobbs Road will be closed in Wicomico County.  The road will be closed from Shavox Road heading northwest for about 800 feet in front of Beaverdam Creek.  County crews, with help from the Solid Waste Division, will replace 2 stormwater pipes that were damaged during Hurricane Sandy and made worse by heavy rainfall.  The roadway should be reopened by Saturday, September 7 – weather permitting.
