A Salisbury man has been found guilty of weapons charges by a Wicomico County Jury. 27 year old Aaron Carey of Salisbury was on the Safe Streets Top 25 Offenders List and has been sentenced to 28 years active incarceration consecutive to the sentence he’s currently serving. The first 6 years represent a mandatory minimum, non-parole eligible sentence because of Carey’s status as a person prohibited from possessing a firearm. Carey was arrested after a traffic stop by Salisbury Police in January.
