Salisbury Public Works Repairing Collapsed Sewer Main

Salisbury Public Works at noon today located a sewer main collapse at the corner of East Locust Street and Patterson Avenue – behind the Pepsi Plant.  Crews are working to repair the main – Franklin Avenue and Hastings Street will be closed at East Locust – but will be open for traffic through Vine Street.  The repair is expected to take about 6 hours – and residents in the area are asked to be conservative with water usage until the sewer main is repaired.
