State Police Looking For Men Who Robbed Customer Outside New Castle Wawa

Jul 29, 2013 -- 5:01pm

Delaware State Police are looking for the men who robbed a customer at a Wawa store in New Castle.

Troopers say just after 1:15 Sunday morning, a 43-year-old man was standing outside the Wawa on Route 13 when another man who was standing outside a Cadillac that was parked at a gas pump motioned for him to come over. When the victim did, he saw two more men inside the Cadillac who were armed with handguns. One of the men demanded money, and the victim complied before the three robbers fled.

The robbers are described as three black men between the ages of 20 and 25 with average to muscular builds. Anyone with information is asked to call State Police Troop 2 at (302) 834-2630, extension 6, or use the State Police Mobile Crime Tip App on their smart phones.
